Notification for  SPOT Admissions into 5 year B.Arch Programme (2014-15)

Date of Announcement : 07.10.2014      

1.Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Spot admissions into 5 year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programme for the academic year 2014-15 against – 2 vacant seats.

2. Admission Criteria: Students who qualify in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by Council of Architecture (COA)) with 10+2 (Maths stream) with minimum of 50% marks or 10+3 (Diploma in Architecture) with minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission into B.Arch programme.

3. Date of SPOT Admission: 9th October, 2014

Reporting Time- 11:00 am at JNIAS School of Planning & Architecture, 6th Floor, Buddha Bhawan, M.G Road, Secunderabad – 500003.

4. Original certificates to be submitted along with the application form:

  1. NATA – 2014 Rank Card
  2. NATA Hall Ticket
  3. SSC Pass memo
  4. Intermediate / diploma marks memo
  5. Study Certificates
  6. Residence Certificate
  7. Caste Certificate
  8. Transfer Certificate
5.How to Apply: 

To apply for the B.Arch programme against vacant seats, eligible candidates must download and print the Application Form available on our website (www.jnias.in) and bring the completed form along with four recent colour photographs (one pasted on the form), originals and photocopies of the above mentioned marksheets and certificates.

Eligible candidates should report at 11:00 am on 9th October 2014 with completed application form and all relevant certificates and documents in original, and one set of photocopies of each for Spot Registration, counseling and verification of documents at the JNIAS SPA office. 
6. Applications received, without copies of certificates in support of the qualifications and without a photograph shall be rejected. Candidates should produce original certificates at the time of Spot Admission otherwise they will not be considered for Spot Admission.

7. Candidates who have been directly admitted during Spot admissions are not eligible for Tuition fee reimbursement.

8.The candidates admitted during spot admissions are informed that their spot admissions are subject to ratification by the Convener NATA Admissions – 2014.

9.The Rules of reservation shall apply for Spot admissions of the B.Arch programme.

10.The academic and other regulations of Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNFAU), Hyderabad will apply to the B.Arch Programme.
